A Classic Favorite with Creamy Charm
When it comes to comfort sides, Creamy Cole Slaw is the undeniable champion. This version is a celebration of tradition done right—plenty of rich dressing, bold crunch, and vibrant color on the plate. It’s exactly the kind of slaw you hope to find alongside a piled-high sandwich, tucked into a picnic basket, or spooned onto a BBQ plate.

Dressing That Steals the Show
What sets this slaw apart is the dressing: a luscious blend of mayonnaise and sour cream, punched up with a bit of Dijon mustard and brightened by fresh lemon juice. The touch of sugar balances the tang, while celery seeds bring a classic slaw flavor that feels both familiar and irresistible. Each bite is creamy without being heavy—coating the vegetables just enough to enhance rather than overwhelm.

Crunchy, Colorful, and Crisp
The slaw itself is a vibrant mix of crisp green cabbage, crunchy celery, sweet red bell pepper, fresh carrot, and a touch of onion for kick. It’s a medley of textures and hues that make the dish as appealing to the eyes as it is to the taste buds. Chopping everything finely allows the dressing to cling to every shred and morsel, ensuring consistency in every bite.

This is the best “traditional” cole slaw that I’ve made. A great accompaniment for sandwiches. There is plenty of creamy, rich dressing. Very colorful presentation!
