Wild Hogs Cellars Peach Sangria
Every summer, the air around The Wine Room at Manalapan fills with laughter, smoke from the pig roast, and the unmistakable aroma of peaches and wine mingling together. While the vintage bottles flow freely, the true star of the day always stands under a simple sign that reads Sangria. The line for this beloved punch stretches across the courtyard, proof that no glass of Merlot or Chardonnay can rival the crowd-pleasing magic of Wild Hogs Cellars Peach Sangria.
A Tradition Born in Friendship
Wild Hogs Cellars began in 2004 as a small group of wine lovers who set out to craft wines for their own enjoyment—no labels, no distribution, just pure passion in a bottle. Over the years, their gatherings evolved into a community, where laughter and good food were as important as the wine itself. Out of one of those sun-drenched backyard celebrations came this legendary sangria, a recipe so approachable and refreshing that it became the unofficial signature drink of the Wild Hogs.
The Simplicity That Steals the Show
Unlike some overly complex sangrias, this one keeps it real—using just a few honest ingredients to create a pitcher of sunshine. It’s the kind of drink you can throw together before a party, let chill overnight, and then watch as guests swarm the table for seconds. The secret? Perfectly ripe peaches and juicy grapes soaked in white wine and peach brandy, with just a kiss of sweetness from lemonade and sugar. It’s proof that elegance doesn’t always require extravagance.

A Crowd Favorite at Every BBQ
Whether it’s a pig roast, a backyard barbecue, or a lazy Sunday by the pool, Wild Hogs Cellars Peach Sangria embodies everything you want in a summer drink—vibrant color, crisp fruit, and an easy-going flavor that pairs beautifully with smoky meats and laughter. You don’t need an expensive bottle of wine to make it sing; in fact, Carlo Rossi Chablis—priced for practicality yet bright and refreshing—works perfectly. By the time the evening ends, almost everyone leaves asking for the recipe.

The Spirit of the Season
At its core, this sangria isn’t just a drink—it’s a symbol of the summer spirit: communal, carefree, and bursting with flavor. It invites conversation, clinking glasses, and that first cool sip that says, this is what summer tastes like. So the next time you fire up the grill or gather friends under the string lights, pour a pitcher of this Wild Hogs classic and raise a toast to simple pleasures done right.

Wild Hog Cellars, founded in 2004, is a private group of vintners who produce some of the finest wines for their own consumption. The founding fathers of this group developed this remarkably simple recipe as a staple for summer BBQ’s and parties. Almost everyone leaves the event with the recipe!
TIP: The wine does not have to be expensive. I use Carlo Rossi Chablis (13.99/gallon on sale).
